Cover design Figures show effects of serum from patients with acquired neuromyotonia on hKv 1.1 or 1.6 expressed in CHO-K1 cells. Peak K+ current densities measured at the test potential of +40 mV from the holding potential of Ö80 mV are decreased in transfected cells cultured for >3 days with 2% sera from the patients (upper traces). The activation curves of the K+ currents in these cells are not affected (lower traces).
